About us
Czech-Moravian Association of Women Entrepreneurs and Managers is a voluntary, non-political organization operating in the regions of the Czech Republic, established in 1995.
The association brings together women who help other female entrepreneurs and managers to succeed in their professional lives while balancing family life and personal development.
Sharing, success, collaboration, and friendship are at the heart of our association’s values. Our members exchange experiences, insights, thoughts, and ideas, enriching themselves and all women within the association, regardless of age, experience, or stage of life and career. Friendship and mutual support are key pillars of our association, enabling long-term successful collaboration and growth.
Members are provided with direct business contacts and opportunities that help them develop their businesses and other activities. The association focuses on targeted cross-selling and mutual support among its members. Networking events and meetings occur within regional club activities, at national events, and during international congresses, conferences, and business missions, where members can form valuable connections and partnerships.
CMAPM is a proud member of the global association of women entrepreneurs, FCEM, and serves as an ambassador for the Women’s Entrepreneurship Day (WED). This membership provides our members with unique opportunities to gain international experience, be inspired by global trends, and establish business partnerships worldwide. This expands their horizons and growth potential, not just domestically, but also on the international stage.
CMAPM operates across the Czech Republic through regional clubs that offer members personalized support and the opportunity to build a business community directly in their local area. Regional clubs host their own meetings, complementing the association’s national and international events. These clubs are located in Prague, Brno, Olomouc, Nový Jičín, Zlín, and Svitavy, providing a platform for local networking, experience sharing, and mutual support.
CMAPM actively contributes to creating an ethical business environment and strives to make a positive impact on the public sphere. The association serves as the voice of women entrepreneurs, heard not only in the Czech Republic but also beyond its borders. Through its activities, CMAPM supports business ethics and creates conditions for recognizing the best female entrepreneurs and managers at regional, national, and international levels, promoting the recognition of their achievements and inspiring future generations.
CMAPM is the longest-serving association of women entrepreneurs and mangers in the Czech Republic. Since 2000, it has regularly organized international conferences aimed at female entrepreneurs and managers. In 2016, Prague hosted the international conference of the World Association of Women Entrepreneurs (FCEM), establishing CMAPM’s presence on the international stage. In 2020, the association celebrated 25 years of its impactful presence in the Czech Republic, reaffirming its significant contribution to the advancement of women’s entrepreneurship.
FCEM is a pioneering association of women entrepreneurs from around the world. It was founded in 1945 in France by Mrs. Yvonne Foinant and quickly expanded to other European countries and five continents. The association brings together women with a common interest in business, based on solidarity and friendship. Today, it has over 5 million members from more than 120 countries worldwide, and interest in membership continues to grow, with new applications arriving each year.
